The Edna Foundation (EF) is a humanitarian and development organization officially established in September 2020. We are legally registered as an Ethiopian Residents Civil Society Organization by the Ethiopian Civil Society Organizations Authority (Registration No. 6463, registered on September 19, 2023). We operate in full compliance with national regulations and international best practices for non-profit governance.

Section 2: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Framework

We don’t just implement programs; we ensure they work. Our framework includes:

• • Data-Driven Decisions: We conduct rigorous needs assessments in Targeted and surrounding areas to identify the most vulnerable children and women.

• • Impact Indicators: We track specific outcomes, such as the number of children enrolled in inclusive education, the successful distribution of mobility aids, and the long-term well-being of our beneficiaries.

• • Continuous Improvement: We regularly review our development plan to adapt to the changing needs of the community and the resources available.

• • Fund Allocation: We prioritize direct-impact spending. Donations are allocated toward our core goals: Inclusive Education, Optimal Healthcare, and Social Empowerment.

• • Audit Readiness: Our financial records are maintained with accuracy to ensure accountability to our board, our donors, and the government authorities.

• Diversified Funding: To ensure sustainability, we explore a mix of individual donations, corporate partnerships, and grant opportunities.
